DNA Vetcare in the Press: Dane Walker Shares Expert Insights in Newsweek and The Times
We’re thrilled to share that our Clinical Director, Dane Walker, has recently been featured in two Newsweek articles and one with The Times, sharing his expert advice on important pet health topics and wider issues affecting pet owners today.
In one story, Dane provided his insights after a Great Dane made waves on TikTok for accidentally eating special chocolate. Chocolate can be very dangerous for dogs, and Dane explained why quick action is so important if your dog sneaks a treat they should not have.
In another article, Newsweek spoke to Dane about the best ways to keep cats cool during hot weather, following a viral video of an owner using a fan to chill their feline friend. Dane shared tips for keeping pets comfortable and safe when temperatures rise.
Most recently, Dane spoke to The Times about the rising costs of veterinary care and the importance of maintaining independence in veterinary practices, as the Competition and Markets Authority continues its inquiry into the sector. Dane shared his thoughts on how independent practices can help keep care personal and transparent for pet owners.
