DNA Vetcare attends its first Graduate Careers Fair at the University of Surrey

As one of the UK’s largest independent veterinary groups, we were proud to attend a graduate careers fair at the University of Surrey. With more than 180 final-year vet students in attendance, the event provided a fantastic opportunity to meet the next generation of vets as we prepare to launch our new graduate scheme.

A huge thank you to our team who supported us on the day:

  • Dane Walker: Clinical Director and Co-Founder
  • Claire Baker: People Director
  • Cameron Black: Lead Vet at Arthur Lodge
  • Sal Kecici: Regional Manager

Throughout the day, our team took part in careers huddles, exhibitor networking sessions and panel discussions. Students were keen to learn about practising within a large, genuinely independent group where clinical freedom, local decision-making and strong mentorship remain core values.

As we continue to grow, we are committed to developing a structured graduate pathway that supports new vets in gaining confidence, exploring their clinical interests and enjoying a positive, balanced start to their careers. Further details about the graduate scheme will be released soon, with interviews for 2026 graduates opening early next year.

We would like to thank the University of Surrey for hosting such an informative and inspiring event.
